Sunday, January 27, 2019 Richard Lowy is a member of the Second Generation. Richard shares the story of his father Leo Lowy (z”l), Holocaust survivor of Dr. Mengele’s experiments.
Richard’s talk is followed by a screening of the film Leo’s Journey, a 60-minute documentary chronicling the firsthand story of Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele and his “medical experiments” on Jewish twins in Auschwitz during World War ll. Leo Lowy’s heart-wrenching journey is interwoven with historical footage and interviews. A docent-led tour is included.
The topic of Aging will be discussed and illustrated by members of various ethnic groups. What are the similarities, and what are the differences?
