Elders Empowering Elders 2017-18

This 2017-2018 year the JSA-Snider Foundation Empowerment Series continues with the theme “The Three E’s: Elders Empowering Elders”, and empower you through laughter and song.

On November 24, the first Empowerment Session of the 2017-18 season started with a bang. Almost 80 people came out to launch the series’ season, which has the theme of Laughter and Music: Feeding the Soul.

Once again the Jewish Seniors Alliance brought the community, in partnership with the JCC, an outstanding program in the framework of the theme “Laughter and Music: Feeding the Soul”. This time the 120 attendants were exposed to the fascinating film “Broadway Musicals, a Jewish Legacy”.

Once again the JSA brought the community, in partnership with Temple Sholom Seniors, a magical program of laughter. This program was the third in a series of “Laughter and Music: Feeding the Soul.”

The fourth in the Empowerment Series of the JSA Snider Foundation Sessions for 2017-18 was held with the co-sponsorship of Congregation Beth Israel on April 17th, 2018. This year’s theme of “Laughter and Music: Feeding the Soul” continued with a program entitled “Perla’s Music Workshop“.
