JSA Has A New Name!
We are excited to announce JSA recently adopted a resolution to change the organization’s name from the Jewish Seniors Alliance of Greater Vancouver to the Jewish Seniors Alliance of British Columbia. This change reflects JSA’s expanding role in advocacy work throughout the province, including extending outreach efforts like Senior Line magazine province-wide. The new JSABC name also reflects the growing need to impact more seniors across BC, no matter where they live.
The JSA Peer Support Services program also has a new name – Community Support Services (CSS)! This change was made to better reflect the goals and objectives of the program and to clarify the services we offer senior volunteers and clients: Senior Peer Support and Friendly Visiting/Walking.
