After medical school, his passion for photography continued and he has been able to combine photography with his extensive travels to all continents of this world, including Antarctica. After retirement from active Neurosurgery in 2017, and especially with the Covid 19 restrictions, he has become more involved with photography, especially as an art form.

They spent 3 years in Winnipeg before relocating to Vancouver in 1979.  Prior to leaving Argentina, Rosa earned a BA in psychology from the National University of Buenos Aires, kept busy as a homemaker and volunteer while her husband practiced as a psychiatrist.  In Canada, Rosa undertook training that allowed her to work in early childhood education and counselling.  She chose to retire in 2018 after a lengthy career at the Chimo Crisis Center where she specialized in working with abused women.
