Present times have proven very difficult for non-profit social service organizations, as the economic recession and Government cut-backs have resulted in severe service slashes. Jewish agencies and groups have not been immune and have had to eliminate many valuable and previously funded services.
JSA provides pre-employment training to eight individuals, most of whom are seniors. They meet every Thursday in the JSA boardroom. They have become the main distributors of JSA’s Senor Line Magazine. They also do other regular jobs for JSA as the need arises, as well as provide valuable volunteering assistance at our forums and other events. This mutually beneficial partnership has proven to be extremely successful and JSA is most grateful for their reliability and competence.
