A warm and welcoming environment for frail elderly. Exercising body and mind through nourishing conversations and delicious kosher meals. If someone you know and love needs our special care, L’Chaim is but a phone call away: 604-638-7275.

A small user fee is charged daily to cover costs of food and programs. A nominal fee for transport via Handydart is extra.

On Friday, we finish at 2:00 pm.

Morning Shabbat Chair Yoga

Friday Shabbat Chair Yoga (9:30 am class) incorporates the spirit of Shabbat. A gentle form of yoga uses a chair instead of a mat. You will be guided to hold stretches in modified versions. Annette Wertman is the instructor.

SENIORS’ BRIDGE: Supervised Play

Players will be given hands to play and be able to ask the bridge supervisor questions. Bring your partner, bring a friend or just come by yourself. Rhona Thorton, our beginners’s bridge teacher, has generously agreed to supervise.
