Jewish Seniors Alliance is pleased to invite y ou to ‘A Night in the Catskills: Jewish Humour Then and Now’. While some might question whether it’s appropriate to hold a gala at this difficult time\, throughout the centuries Jews have used humour to de al with adversity. Today is no different.
\nYou may recall JSA organ ized a similar Comedy Night 13 years ago. We are thrilled to tell you that our Board Director Michael Geller will once again be our charming MC! The evening will feature video clips of famous Borsht Belt c omics along with clips of contemporary Jewish comedians. Local rabbis have been invited to share some favourite jokes they would never tell in shul.
